YellowHat Kids is designed for children and should be installed by a parent or guardian. YellowHat Parent is for adults managing a child's device. Parents and guardians are responsible for:

  • • Installing YellowHat Kids on their child's device
  • • Explaining how the app works to their child
  • • Responding appropriately to alerts
  • • Maintaining device security and account credentials

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use YellowHat for:

  • • Spying or surveillance beyond the intended child safety purpose
  • • Violating anyone's privacy or rights
  • • Illegal activities
  • • Circumventing security features
  • • Sharing accounts or credentials with unauthorized users

Important Disclaimer

YellowHat is a moderation tool, not a guarantee. While we work hard to detect harmful content, we cannot promise:

  • • 100% accuracy in detection
  • • That all harmful messages will be caught
  • • Real-time alerts in all situations
  • • Protection against all possible threats

YellowHat is designed to assist parents, not replace open communication and monitoring. Parents should continue to talk with their children about online safety.

Limitation of Liability

YellowHat is provided "as is" without warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, YellowHat, its creators, and partners are not liable for:

  • • Inaccurate detection results
  • • Service interruptions
  • • Any harm resulting from your use of the app

Service Limitations

  • •Device Requirements: YellowHat requires Android devices. iOS version coming soon.
  • •Offline Mode: Processing works offline, but alerts require internet connectivity to sync to parent devices.
  • •No Guarantee of Uptime: We strive for reliability but do not guarantee 100% service availability.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Your continued use of YellowHat after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
